I am a daughter redeemed by Jesus Christ. I have a heart for leading and discipling young women, and I have served in the ministries of Cru and Young Life. I love writing, and I deeply believe in the importance of encouragement and refreshment found in communicating, sharing, and teaching God’s Word.

why cedar & ink?
Throughout Scripture, cedar is often seen as a symbol of strength, endurance, and a life deeply rooted in God. The cedar tree is an evergreen tree, one that stands firm throughout all seasons.
Ink represents the written words of this blog, reflecting and pointing to the truths and promises of God that He has given to us in His Word.
My prayer is that every written work on Cedar & Ink would encourage a faith that endures through all seasons as well as a greater love for God's Word.
